Views On Brews & Talk About Teas

Great Taste Awards Winner

Celebratory blog post this week! Exciting times here at The Kettle Shed – so very pleased to share news of two more great taste awards presented to us. We are chuffed to be able display this to regular customers and to those wishing to try our tea, to show that it is very much loved and well worth discovery.

Especially proud of our very own Bang on Breakfast previously being a winner of two stars for at the Great Taste Awards. The Kettle Shed are now over the moon to add more sparkling little stars to this; having recently received not just one for our Darjeeling Darling but also won a second for our Tutti Frutti tea.

Super enriched Tutti Frutti: A panoply of tropical fruits compete for attention in this fun, colourful infusion. Tangy pineapple and sharp passion fruit are complimented perfectly by creamy coconut and honey-sweet orange blossom. Naturally caffeine-free and rich in vitamins this blend is a fantastic treat for adults and children alike. It’s sunshine in a cup! Boil freshly drawn water, infuse leaves for three minutes and drink without milk.  Delicious served iced on a hot summer’s day.

Ingredients Include: Hibiscus, Orange Peel, Lemon Peel, Passion fruit Pieces, Pineapple Pieces, Corinths, Papaya pieces, Rosehip, Orange blossom, Sugar, Sunflower petals and Flavour.

Darjeeling Darling: Delicate Darjeeling is known as “the champagne of teas”. The first flush, harvested in spring, gives the best early season character. This superb example is bursting with distinctive ‘muscatel’ flavour and aroma, making the perfect afternoon refreshment.

Our special loose-leaf Fuso bags are biodegradable. The mesh infusers are the perfect size to let your whole-leaf tea expand, releasing those delicious flavours for your delectation.
